A professional consultation with no obligation
During the initial chiropractic/osteopathic appointment, you will first be asked to complete a medical questionnaire regarding all aspects of your medical history, in order that we may understand any factors which may be relevant to your treatment.
We will take time to talk through any previous injuries, how your current symptoms may have been triggered, and understand how your daily life has been affected and your goals for your treatment.
We’ll then complete a full physical examination. Please note there is no need to undress or wear a medical gown, simply wear loose clothing to your appointment.
Following the physical examination, we will take time to explain which joints and muscles are causing the pain, and give you an indication of the likely duration of your treatment. We’ll then proceed to treatment in the same session.
Subsequent appointments are booked at the end of your previous appointment and are usually at one-week intervals from the previous appointment. There is no need to commit to or pay for a block of treatments, so you can book exactly the number of appointments you require.
Follow-on appointments incorporate a range of treatments depending on what is most appropriate in your case, including chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation, massage, Western acupuncture, and rehabilitation exercises to support the treatment and minimise the likelihood of further injury.
As a clinic, we aim to provide the best clinical care for each of our patients.
When an appointment has been booked, that time is set aside for you and when missed, cannot be used to treat another patient who needs to use our clinic services. We therefore request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend or wish to cancel your appointment.
Where appointments are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, there will be a 50% charge for lost clinic time.
If you accumulate a total of three missed appointments, you will be asked to pay for the appointments before being able to schedule another appointment.
We treat a wide range of conditions which are muscle and joint related, or which have their roots in musculoskeletal issues.
If you’d like to discuss whether we can help in your particular case, feel free to contact us or book a free 30-minute consultation
